Good Morning Britain viewers issued a demand as Kate Garraway offered her verdict on Matt Hancock's I'm A Celebrity appearance.
Kate was reading today's headlines on Thursday's edition of the ITV news programme. The show was fronted by Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard as the broadcasters reacted to the former Health Secretary's shock entry into the Australian jungle on last night's I'm A Celebrity.
The show has been rocked by controversy after Mr Hancock's addition as he was forced to resign in scandal for breaching his own social distancing laws during the pandemic. Kate was personally affected during the pandemic as her husband, Derek Draper, fell critically ill after contracting coronavirus.

Kate regularly speaks out about her husband's condition and has documented his gruelling road to recovery in two award winning-documentaries. The 55-year-old broadcaster competed on I'm A Celeb in 2019 and Susanna questioned how she would have reacted to Mr Hancock's entry into the jungle given how personally she has been impacted during the pandemic.
Kate responded: "I think instinctively, me personally, would want to talk to him and ask him questions about it to try to get to the bottom of how he really felt about it.
"I think there's a very visceral gut reaction to Matt Hancock as he's a very famous face of a time that's been miserable for the entire country and we're still living with the consequences of it. There will be people watching whose grief is still very raw from losing people and they won't see that rawness of grief and sadness in the way Matt Hancock is behaving on screen."
Viewers following the show on Twitter were outraged during the discussion and called for the show to be boycotted until the MP for West Sussex is removed from the jungle.
Clive said: "Won't watch #ImACeleb again 'til Hancock goes, this is despicable television"
Chris commented: "I’m not watching #ImACeleb #ITV have misread the room and got this all wrong. I’d love it if everyone just tuned into something else for this year."
@fightingforindy posted: "#ImACeleb boycott THIS PROGRAMME UNTIL @mat_hancock IS OFF"
Christopher tweeted: "If people switched off #ImACeleb maybe that would send a message to @ITV."
Adie added: "#GMB should urge everyone to boycott other ITV shows until he's taken off the air"
