Good Morning Britain fans not happy as Robert Rinder has a 'hot flush'

Viewers at home were left unimpressed when Robert Rinder and Charlotte Hawkins returned today to host Good Morning Britain for the third time this week.

As ever, the show featured hot topics of the day, including the news inflation has now risen to above 10% - a new 40-year high. Tributes also flooded in for the late singer and actor Darius Campbell Danesh.

The former Pop Idol star was found dead at his US apartment on Thursday (August 11), his family reported.

Later, fans of the show saw a segment dedicated to the menopause, in which Robert Rinder wore a "hot flush vest". The device is fitted with heat pads to mimic the unwelcome menopausal symptom.

He began sweating as he said: "Bloomin' 'eck, it's started already", before then looking noticeably redder in the face. After an ad break, the hosts discussed the menopause with Dr Hilary and the Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Menopause, Carolyn Harris.

Some fans at home voiced their unhappiness during the segment. Taking to Twitter, Helen King said: "Ffs! Is this really necessary?", while domain_harry said: "newsflash: men have things they have to deal with as well (fighting on the front lines for instance) - they don't need to experience hot flushes".

BurnsGT1 said: "Men get free Viagra but we have to pay for the HRT. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???". Fluffadelic said: "Imagine a constant b*** ache that lasts ten years. Add work, kids & elderly parents. Then getting called fat ugly & useless, because you have the audacity to not be young & pretty anymore.
