Good Morning Britain fans were left disappointed during Friday's instalment with many accusing host Ben Shephard of trying to paint Mick Lynch in a bad light.
The GMB presenter was co-hosting alongside Charlotte Hawkins as they discussed the latest news and topics of the day from the ITV studio. One segment saw them by the RMT union general secretary Mick Lynch, and former Conservative parliamentary candidate Iain Dale.
It comes ahead of a huge rail strike due to go ahead tomorrow (October 1), the day before the London marathon.

Members of the RMT, Aslef and TSSA unions will walk out in a row over pay, job cuts and working conditions. It is the latest in a series of walk-outs, with the dispute having rolled on for months.
Mr Lynch said he felt he had the public's support, but Ben asked: "Do you worry that taking the action on a day like tomorrow, when it's going to [affect] so many people trying to raise money, is going to turn that tide? People are going to get frustrated."
Mr Lynch said workers "don't want to disrupt the marathon" and apologised. Ben said: "It will though, that's the reality".
Many viewers at home were not happy with Ben's comments. Taking to Twitter, Sally said: "Sick of people on TV demonising people like Mick Lynch when they haven't got a clue", before adding: "There'll be no money to donate to the marathon if this carries on".
Jasmine said: "Ben, people are more concerned about how they're going to pay their bills". Sean Davids said people needing charity is also caused by the government and urged Ben to "join the dots".
Daisy said: "Ben, something has got to be done to stop this dreadful government".
ITV have been approached for comment.
