Sporting defender Goncalo Inacio has signalled his preferred transfer destination this summer amid interest from Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle.
According to reports in Portugal, the defender is set on a move to the Premier League this summer and has put new contract talks with Sporting on hold.
While Inacio does not consider Newcastle an attractive option, a move to Old Trafford does appeal.
Inacio, who reportedly has a £38.5million release clause, would join the likes of Portugal internationals Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot at United.
Liverpool have also been linked with the 21-year-old, but the Portuguese daily newspaper O Jogo does not mention any interest as Inacio waits on offers from clubs ahead of the transfer window opening.
It remains to be seen if United firm up their reported interest in Inacio given strong links with fellow left-sided centre-back Kim Min-jae of Napoli.
