Gogglebox viewers spot cook book in Gordon Ramsay's home nobody would ever expect to see

Gogglebox viewers were gobsmacked as they spotted a cookbook on Gordon Ramsay's shelf - by a rival chef. Cameras were invited into the restaurateur's home for a special Stand Up To Cancer edition of the hit Channel 4 show.

He was appearing with his daughter Tilly, who rose to fame on Strictly Come Dancing last year. They were both wearing matching blue onesies and sheepskin slippers for the episode as they got comfortable to watch highlights from TV.

But viewers were more than a little distracted by some of the objects on the shelves behind them. Among them, they pointed out a cookbook by Jamie Oliver. @KWells1979 wrote on Twitter: "Anyone else notice the Jamie Oliver cookbook on the shelf #gogglebox." @dominic4346 added: "Blimey - Gordon’s cook books are Gino’s Italy and Jamie Oliver #Gogglebox."

Birmingham Live reported that another item on the shelf also caused a stir among viewers. The chef had the letters G&T standing proudly next to the cookbooks. Viewers couldn't work out whether Gordon was a huge gin fan, or whether they were there to represent his and Tilly's names.
