Gogglebox viewers issued a demand as a new face took Sophie Sandiford's spot on the sofa.
The reality TV star has established herself as a fan favourite on the popular Channel 4 programme where she commentates on the week's best television alongside brother Pete. However, Sophie was missing at the start of the latest episode as Pete played with his baby son.
Viewers gushed as Jimmy was propped up by a cushion in Sophie's usual position. Pete revealed he was delighted when his wife, Paige Yeomans, gave birth to their first child last year.

He said: "It's a bit overwhelming, got it all going on at the moment! He's cool little lad, takes after his mum not me!"
Viewers did not have to wait long to see Jimmy on Gogglebox as he made his screen debut in the first episode of season 18. Jimmy made his return to the show tonight and viewers took to Twitter and said he should be a regular addition.
Chris said: "Can we have the baby on every week"
Lea tweeted: "Pete’s little boy is so so adorably cute"
Carl said: "Oh it looks like Pete's Son has nicked @PeteandSophie seat."
Tyrese added: "Aww Pete playing with his baby."
Molly commented : "Aww Pete’s baby is adorable"
Normal service resumed after the opening segment as Sophie took her usual place as the brother and sister offered their verdict on programmes such as BBC's The Repair Shop, Drag Me to Hell and Eurovision.
