Gogglebox fans will be thrilled to discover the show will soon return.
The popular Channel 4 programme has become a staple of Friday night television since it premiered in 2013. The show has made stars out of personalities such as Pete Sandiford, Jenny Newby and Stephen Webb, who have endeared themselves to fans with their hilarious observations on the week's best TV.
Since the last episode of Gogglebox aired in May, many of us have been missing tuning in to watch our favourites each week. Celebrity Gogglebox has appeared in its place in recent weeks and stars such as Carol Vorderman and Rylan Clark have filled the void over the summer.

Fans will be overjoyed to learn our favourites will once again be inviting them into their homes as TV Zone confirmed the new series will return on Friday, September 9. Gogglebox favourites have enjoyed a well deserved summer break away from their sofas.
However, many have returned to their social media accounts to issue a plea this week after the show was nominated for Best Factual Entertainment programme at the National Television Awards. The award is voted for by the public and the personalities were delighted after they bagged the prize at last year's ceremony.
Jenny and Lee have taken to their Instagram account to ask their 722k followers to support them as they bid to retain the gong. They said: "So you lovely people hope your going to vote for #gogglebox see you very soon."
Followers took to the comments to assure the stars they had their vote.

Alex commented : "I’ve already voted for your show. It’s my go to when I’m not working "
Eric messaged: "Of course we are best show ever love it"
