Gogglebox favorite Izzi Warner, 31, has shared exciting details about her new romance after finding love once again following her split from a long-term partner. On a recent episode of the popular Channel 4 series, during a casual chat with her sister Ellie, 34, Izzi finally unveiled information about her mystery man, who had previously remained unnamed despite teasing her 412,000 Instagram followers with several photos.
During Friday night’s broadcast, Izzi introduced her boyfriend to viewers, revealing his name to be Toby. With enthusiasm, she gushed to her sister, “Wait till you see what Toby got me for Valentine’s – a card in a box!” Ellie then read the heartfelt message on the card aloud: “To Izzi, our first of many. Thank you for being the absolute best. I bloody adore you. Happy Valentine’s Day. I love you loads and lots more. Toby.”
In a tender moment, Izzi clutched the card close to her chest and playfully asked Ellie, “How sick are you feeling now?” Meanwhile, Ellie, who has been with her boyfriend Nat for five years and shares son Ezra with him, quipped about her own relationship, adding a humorous twist: “I need to take a picture so I can send it to Nat so he can cringe. I mean I would love for Nat to write that for me but he’d [shudder].”
Izzi’s journey into a new relationship follows a challenging period in her personal life. Last October, she revealed her split from Grant, her boyfriend of 10 years with whom she shares son Bobby, 10, and daughter Bessie Rose, five. In a candid moment on the show, Izzi opened up about having been single for the past 18 months, as reported by the Mirror.
She shared her ‘ideal man’ checklist with Ellie, referring to it affectionately as her ‘Mary Poppins’ list. “My partner, who is practically perfect in every way, do you want to hear it? It’s quite extensive. I’ve separated it into essentials and nice-to-haves,” she explained.
According to Izzi, the essentials include traits such as being hardworking, open-minded, kind, attractive and having a clean criminal record, among others. The list also features a set of nice-to-haves like nice teeth, a nice car, and good style, among other desirable qualities. Izzi humorously credited this rigorous list as the reason behind her extended period of singleness, reported OK! Magazine.
More recently, in December, Izzi celebrated her 31st birthday in Paris with Toby by her side. Photographs captured the couple standing at the base of the Eiffel Tower and enjoying a festive night out near two enormous Christmas trees. A short video clip from the celebrations showed them clinking glasses and savoring champagne, prompting fans to inquire online about Toby’s identity.
Toby even featured in Izzi’s 2024 highlights reel, where she captioned the montage: “2024 was certainly one to remember for all the right reasons. Here’s to making more memories with all my favourite people in 2025 wishing everyone a happy and healthy new year xx.”
