Gogglebox star Jenny Newby's Hull fair death slide leaves fans 'giggling'

Gogglebox star Jenny Newby left fans in fits of giggles after sliding down a 'death slide' at Hull fair with her great-granddaughter. The TV personality from Hull has left her and best mate Lee Riley's Instagram followers laughing after posting a video of her exiting a funhouse at the famous annual fair through a rather "crazy" looking slide.

Many reminisced on them going in the 'Outer Limits' funhouse as a child and clearly remember the slide that just "slings you off the end". However, a handful of fans seemed rather worried about Jenny's back after she slips off the end of the ride at some speed.

In the video you can hear echoes of laughter whilst Jenny slides down hand-in-hand with her great-granddaughter with the caption: "I think Jenny has fully recovered this is what happens when you to Hull fair with your great-granddaughter, reports Hull Live.

Many fans commented with lines of laughing emojis, commenting how hilarious they found the video, one wrote: "I laughed so much. Nearly wet myself!!"

Some others even sharing their own experiences at the fun house, one Instagram user commented: "That looked painful Jenny ? Are you ok I done it before and hurt my lower back."

"Oh wow I hope that didn’t hurt as much as it looked as if it did", said another, concerned whether Jenny had hurt her back or not as she landed rather harshly on the crash mat. With other followers commenting how "painful" the landing looked.

Another Instagram use complimented Jenny's youthful looks saying that "she doesn't look old enough to have a great granddaughter!" But overall, the comments celebrated how much they love Jenny and, with one saying "I can't stop watching this. You two are amazing on Gogglebox."

The pair posted on their Instagram page urging fans to vote for them and the Gogglebox team to win the award at the NTA's, to which they remained victorious but it seemed that they were absent from the awards.
