Celebrity Gogglebox star Gyles Brandreth was rushed to hospital after suffering a nasty fall on a dodgy pavement over the weekend.
The much-loved Channel 4 star, 74, took to social media over the weekend to detail his nasty accident.
Gyles posted photos of himself in the back of an ambulance with his arm in a sling as she shared the update with his fans.
The reality TV star looked rather cheerful in the snaps, despite the circumstances, as he told his supportive followers that he had injured his 'funny bone'.
In his Instagram update, Gyles revealed that he had broken his humerus - the upper arm bone - in the nasty fall.
“Don’t break your humerus: it’s not funny! It’s a pain: literally," he captioned the set of hospital snaps.
“But if you’re going to take a tumble on the pavement as I did last night, do it in Fife where there are ace people like Lynne and Emma and Malcolm ready to come to the rescue with care, skill and kindness. Just the best!”
The Channel 4 favourite shared snaps of himself posing with the helpful ambulance staff as he thanked them for their kindness following his fall.
It wasn't long before fans rushed to share their support for the Gogglebox star.
"Oh Gyles you poor, poor thing. Wishing you a speedy recovery," wrote one follower.
"I broke my funny bone a few years ago and it was the worst pain ever. Hope you're okay," someone else added.
"Nothing worse! Hope you're back on the mend soon," another commented.
While a fourth fan gushed: "Gyles wishing you a speedy recovery. At least you were looked after well. Lots of love."
Gyles' fall comes after the former Conservative MP recently revealed that he turned down a stint on Strictly Come Dancing.
The Channel 4 star decided to decline BBC bosses after they invited him to appear on the show.
The star admitted that he turned down Strictly because he's 'simply got no rhythm'.
"Yes, I have been approached about doing #Strictly (and I’m flattered because I love the show), but sadly it’s not for me for this compelling reason: I ain’t got rhythm … I REALLY ain’t got rhythm," he tweeted explaining his reasoning for not joining the show.
