Ellie Warner made a return to Gogglebox, announcing wedding plans and babies with her boyfriend Nat Eddleston as she came back to the Channel 4 show on Friday evening. The star chatted to Nat on the phone as she sat next to sister Izzi, joking that he wanted a "shotgun wedding", reports The Mirror.
Her return to the show has been long-awaited since March, after Nat was involved in an accident that caused life-threatening injuries. She announced she would be coming back just two hours before the show aired, after being silent on social media following two months away.
Immediately after the show went on air, Ellie, who is from Leeds, and Izzi, were sitting on the sofa sharing a conversation about Nat wanting to marry, and if he knows what a shotgun wedding is. Ellie then called Nat and put him on loudspeaker, inferring that a shotgun wedding tends to mean that the bride is pregnant.

Speaking to Izzi, she said: "I said to Nat this morning, when we get married what type of wedding do you want? And he went: 'A shotgun wedding! "So I said 'Ooh does that mean you want me to be pregnant before we get married?' and he said 'No'.
"I actually want to know what he thought a shotgun wedding was." She then asked Nat what he thought it was, with him admitting he thought it meant that the the groom was "forced to get married."
Ellie revealed her return to the award-winning show on Instagram, posting: "Looking forward to getting back on your screens tonight. Thank you for all the well wishes, we are really grateful that things are getting back to normal."
Co-stars were quick to welcome Ellie back. Sophie Sandiford wrote: "Great to see you both back!! Xxxxx"
Dave and Shirl commented: "Great to have you back xxxx"
Nat was reportedly hit by a white car just after midnight in March after he had met friends for a drink in Halton. "Ellie has been told to take all the time she needs - everyone on the show is hoping and praying Nat will be ok," an insider told the Daily Star in March, after it said Ellie would be missing for the rest of the current series.
She has appeared on the show with sister Izzi since 2015. Gogglebox airs Friday nights on Channel 4 at 9pm.
