Gogglebox viewers were thrilled as popular family the Siddiquis issued a show update. They have been a fixture of the Channel 4 show ever since its very first season back in 2013, Liverpool Echo reports.
The family have welcomed viewers back into their Derbyshire home for the latest season - with a new instalment of Gogglebox being broadcast tonight. Sid, Baasit, Raza and Umar will cast their eye on a new selection of shows as they often have throughout the years.
The armchair critics have taken to Instagram to confirm they will back on our screens later. However, they admitted they were in brighter spirits last week as there was a bank holiday to look forward to.

They said: "HAPPY FRIDAY. Little bit gutted we don’t have a 3 day weekend this week if I’m honest. Hope you’ve all had a great week!
