Gogglebox Siddiqui family 'gutted' as they issue show update

Gogglebox viewers were thrilled as the Siddiquis issued a show update.

The popular family have been a fixture of the popular Channel 4 show ever since its very first season back in 2013. The family have welcomed viewers back into their Derbyshire home for the latest season where they commentate on the week's best TV.

A new instalment of Gogglebox is set to be broadcast tonight and Sid, Baasit, Raza and Umar will cast their eye on a new selection of shows. The armchair critics have taken to Instagram to confirm they will back on our screens later.

However, they admitted they were in brighter spirits last week as there was a bank holiday to look forward to. They said: "HAPPY FRIDAY.

"Little bit gutted we don’t have a 3 day weekend this week if I’m honest. Hope you’ve all had a great week!

"What’s everyone’s plans for this weekend? See you all tonight at 9pm."

Fans took to the comments in excitement as they look forward to tonight's show.

Sue said: "I absolutely love you all on Gogglebox. Your dry wit and humour is brilliant!"

Julie added: "Happy Friday. Looking forward to seeing you at 9pm xxx"

Patricia posted: "Happy Friday looking forward to tonight have a lovely weekend."
