Simon and Jane Minty have addressed their absence in an upcoming episode of Gogglebox.
The hysterical pair solidified themselves as fan favourites after bursting onto the scene back in 2021. They issued an upsetting statement today which invoked a wave of disappointment from fans who braced themselves for a week without them on their television.
Using their joint Instagram account to address fans, they said: "We won’t be popping up on tonight’s Gogglebox as we’ve had a week's holiday.

"So, here’s a pic of us taken a while back. It was my (Simon) 40th birthday, so very recent past. Do enjoy Gogglebox tonight, it will be brilliant. Have a great weekend and see you next Friday. #Gogglebox. #GoggleboxReady."
Fans were disappointed by the news but wished them well on their holidays. One follower said: "Aw no we will miss you but see you next week xx."
Another added: "You will both be missed but enjoy your holidays x." While a third said: "I'll miss you both but hope you've had a lovely break. You've got to love a throwback photo."
