Former Gogglebox favourite Scarlett Moffatt has shared a new candid snap with her baby son after revealing he had made an early entrance into the world. The TV star announced she had given birth to her first child five weeks early in an emotional social media post on Thursday (June 29).
The new mum could be seen wearing a hairnet and hospital gown as her newborn son lay on her chest while her boyfriend and new dad Scott Dobinson beamed alongside them in hospital scrubs. Scarlett shared how the couple had welcomed their bundle of joy 35 weeks into her pregnancy at Durham Hospital.
"Jude Xavier Dobinson. My darling boy, I can’t stop crying looking at you as I can’t quite believe you’re mine. You wanted to meet us early at just 35 weeks," Scarlett shared on Instagram.

"Me and your daddy love you so much that I can’t even put this feeling into words. Our heart and soul feel complete and ready to burst. I will forever and always be grateful to be your mammy."
She added: "I can’t thank @scottdobby enough and to the midwives Helen and Charlotte and all of the NHS team at Durham Hospital. You will all forever hold a special place in my heart for looking after us all with such compassion. Let the baby bubble commence."
And Scarlett has since returned to Instagram on Friday morning (June 30) with another post-birth snap. The former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here winner could be seen sporting a matching grey pyjama set with her compression bandages on show as she stood in between two lots of balloons featuring stars and ones that declared 'Baby Boy'.
The 32-year-old smiled for the camera as she held onto her newborn who looked to be peacefully sleeping in her arms after being put into a white babygrow. "My perfect boy," Scarlett wrote alongside the image with a white heart on her Instagram Story.
After announcing her and Scott's happy news, Scarlett was flooded with congratulatory messages. Reality star Vicky Pattison said: "Congratulations you two. Unbelievable news." Former Countdown star Carol Vorderman wrote: "Massive congratulations Mamma Moffat."
TalkTV and This Morning's Vanessa Feltz replied: "Wonderful news!! Congratulations." Ru Paul's Drag Race star and radio host Michelle Visage commented: "AHHHHHH CONGRATS MY LOVE." Singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor shared: "Congratulations! Welcome to the world, little man." And former Gogglebox co-star Sophie Sandiford added: "Congratulations."
Scarlett, who shot to fame in 2014 on Channel 4's Gogglebox, announced she was pregnant on Instagram in February with an adorable video of their pet chihuahua Bonnie. The little pooch wore a bandana announcing "I'm going to be a big sister." Next to Bonnie she had rested the baby scan as TV favourite Scarlett lovingly stroked her.
She added alongside the sweet post: "It truly feels like a dream writing this caption," said the excited mum-to-be. "Me & Scott are on cloud nine & we are so happy that we get to share this moment with you all. You are so loved already little one. Baby Dobinson coming soon."
