Gogglebox star Pete Sandiford has given a parenting update as the popular TV show returned.
In December, Pete announced on the show that he and wife Paige are expecting their second child together, and as Channel 4 programme came back tonight, he spoke to sister Sophie about expecting sleepless nights.
As Gogglebox began, Sophie said she had a lovely holiday, prompting Pete to say: "Stop rubbing it in, I had to cancel mine."
Sophie went on: "You have the gift of a child, so your little holiday cancellation, swings and roundabouts really."
The TV star replied: "That means I have not had a break for years," leading Sophie to say: "You're having another baby, that's a nice holiday."
Her brother retorted: "Yeah, going from one not sleeping all of the way through the night, to then having two, so now we are going to have them awake at different times."
Sophie commented that it sounded like a holiday as they would stay up late on a getaway.
Pete joked: "Poor Paige is going to have her work cut out."
Last year, in an adorable clip on the Friday night favourite, Pete told his son, Jimmy, that he is set to become a big brother.
"Jimbers, you're going to have a little brother or sister coming. You're going to have to milk it," the TV star quipped.
Sophie, who was holding her nephew on her knee, added: "You’re going to be a big brother."
In the same episode last year, Ellie Warner revealed she's expecting her first baby.
Ellie revealed she's set to become a mum for the first time after a rollercoaster year which saw her beloved boyfriend Nat left fighting for his life.
During the instalment, Ellie turned to her sister Izzie as she shared a snap of her ultrasound scan.
"I went for a scan on Saturday," she said while showing a picture taken from the scan of her child, before both sisters chuckled as Ellie said: "It looks like a jellied alien!"
Fans favourites returned this evening on Gogglebox, including Lee Riley and Jenny Newby, who delighted fans as they returned to Instagram after two months away.
The long-time friends returned in style on Tuesday, as they shared a video message with their 739,000 followers and let them know some exciting news.
Sitting in their famous caravan together, Jenny and Lee beamed as they waved to their fans and began their new Instagram update.
They exclaimed: "Hi, we’re back!"
Jenny added: "We’re still the same, still sat on the sodding lumpy cushions."
Laughing, Lee then joked, "We’re still as daft as ever," as Jenny quipped, "Yeah – you’re right there!"
"Back filming guys so see you all Friday," Lee went on to reveal, as Jenny added: "Looking forward to it!"
