So many of the Gogglebox cast are well known faces but little is known about their supporting extras - the pooches.
On the hit Channel 4 show, we're given a weekly insight into the lives of half a dozen or so families and how they watch telly.
But sometimes us viewers get a bit distracted by the furry family members... their adorable pets.
It often becomes more like Dogglebox as the four-legged companions leap up on the sofa and get in front of the TV.
While some family pets are front and centre, others decided they are not ones for the limelight and do not appear on screen.
There have also been some major controversies involving Gogglebox's pets - with concerned viewers once ringing the RSPCA - and a very tragic death of a beloved pooch.
Here is a look at the Gogglebox family pets we know and love and those who are kept hidden.
Ellie Warner
Ellie Warner, who has graced our screens with sister Izzi since 2015, has been joined on the show by her adorable pooches.
The Leeds lass is owner to not one but two cute Italian greyhounds.
Mick has been a Gogglebox favourite for a while, but was later joined by a baby sister Madge.
Welcoming her new puppy on Instagram in April, Ellie wrote: :"Introducing Madonna aka Madge the 12 inch terror!
"I’m Micks baby sister (we have the same mum and dad) and I arrived at my new home last week and been isolating here ever since."
Ellie has attempted to take the duo out on a walk together on a lead splitter, but it only lasted five minutes because Madge wanted to stop and sniff while Mick wanted to go full steam ahead.
Dog lovers everywhere were furious with Ellie Warner when she pushed her hound on the show last year.
Ellie faced the wrath of viewers after shoving Mick off the sofa after spilling beans on her leg while eating a KFC.
Her then six-month-old Italian Greyhound fell off a stool after being pushed away from her food - leaving viewers at home in disbelief.
Some viewers were baffled as to why the horrible scene had aired, while others even claimed they had reported her to the RSPCA.
Ellie hit back to explain her actions and insisted her pet pooch was not harmed.
"Sorry everyone was scolded by burning hot beans, the foot stool is literally a foot from the floor so Mick was not hurt," She wrote.
"I love my dog and would never hurt him and I also would not let him eat Kentucky fried chicken as it is not suitable food for dogs."
The RSPCA actually replied back to a tweet which called her actions' 'dog abuse'.
On Twitter, the animal charity wrote: "This is sad to see, it's unnecessary to push a dog away like that :( We only advocate the use of positive reinforcement training, as opposed to punishing bad behaviour in dogs."
After the RSPCA responded, Ellie tweeted: "You are welcome to visit and investigate any time please feel free to dm me to make arrangements thank you."
At the time, arepresentative for the RSPCA told Mirror Online that there were no plans to investigate the matter further.
Pete and Sophie
Siblings Pete and Sophie, from Blackpool, have become one of the stand out pairs since starting on the show in 2017.
They are proud owners of a beautiful Shih Tzu with a sensational name - Elvis.
Both often share adorable pics of their pooch on Instagram, labelling him "king of the side eye" and joking about his "serious attitude problem".
The Malones
It's not all about the humans on Gogglebox, as viewers tune in just to see the Malone family's dogs.
As well as the lovable Rottweilers, the Malones consist of mum Julie, dad Tom Senior, Tom Junior and Shaun.
The pooches have kept us amused for years and are always getting in front of the TV or trying to have a bite of the snacks.
The troupe of hounds consists of Dave, Lucy and Izzie - but tragedy struck in May 2018 when Frank sadly passed away and later in March last year when Lucy died.
The doggie was a regular on the show, and was often seen curled up on the sofa with his head in Shaun's lap as he reviewed the weeks' TV with his family.
Heartbroken Shaun confirmed they had been forced to put Frank to sleep in an emotional Insta post.
He admitted it was tough to let go of the beloved family bet but the right thing to do.
"After 11 years with the family it was so hard but best thing to do for him. We’ve had to put my dog frank to sleep. R.I.P frankie," wrote Shaun, along with a touching shot of Frank enjoying a nap on his owner's stomach.
Last year, Lucy's death was announced in an Instagram post, which showed a picture of the family with their pet dog, which he captioned: "Rest easy Lucy, you were a good girl."
Stephen and Daniel
Stephen and partner Daniel are regularly joined by a trio of pooches on their sofa.
Known to take over the entire couch, Babs, Princess and Betsy love getting their faces on TV.
Viewers love to see the adorable doggies, but grew concerned in April 2018 when they blasted the hairdresser after he was seen tying up his dogs' ears with elastic bands during the show.
Sitting alongside his mum Pat, Stephen said his poodles were celeb lookalikes and joked about dressing them up.
But some disgruntled fans took to social media to brand the act as 'cruel' and 'disgraceful.'
"You really shouldn't shove a poodle's ears into a hair bobbles. Those dogs are living creatures, they are not mere toys to play with! " fumed one.
"Seriously man, DO NOT do that to your dogs ’ ears!" ordered another.
But some fans rushed to Stephen's defence.
"Calm down people, he clearly adores his dogs, I think you are all slightly overreacting," said one in support of the star.
The Siddiquis
As one of the original Gogglebox families, the Siqqiquis were pioneers for the series when it started.
The Derby-based family is made up of dad Side and brothers Baasit and Umar, but they have another family member who has not appeared on TV.
Baasit is owner of handsome Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Alfie, who has shied away from the spotlight.
The Gogglebox star, wife Melissa, daughter Amelia and son Theodore welcomed the pup into their home back in 2017.
In 2018, Baasit and Umar were on hand to officially open a newly refurbished RSPCA centre in Derby.
The brothers are big supporters of the animal welfare charity.
Dave and Shirley
Welsh couple Dave and Shirley, who have been married for 40 years, have been bringing smiles to our faces since 2015.
As well as kids Gemma and Simon, the pair have a two-year-old French bulldog called Bleu.
They frequently post adorable snaps of their little guy on social media.
They love dressing up their gorgeous pooch in amazing costumes - and once turned him into a Star Wars character.
Earlier this year, there was a new addition to the family with another Frenchie called Rupert.
Taking to Twitter to share the exciting news, the couple wrote: "This soon to be blue's new partner in crime, a welcome edition to the griffiths household #Frenchie #Gogglebox."
Steph and Dom
Steph and Dom were firm Gogglebox favourites from the start - and left the show back in 2016.
Viewers often got a glimpse of their tiny miniature Daschund Gigi, but she managed to cause some hilarious problems on set.
What we didn't see is that she regularly ruined footage with constant farting.
"She farts a lot. That’s not something people necessarily see on camera. That’s the sort of thing they don’t show," Steph told The Daily Star in 2016.
Dom added: "People can’t see it. But we can certainly smell it. Sometimes we’re filming and she finds her squeaky toy and it causes a lot of problems."
Reverend Kate and Graham
Reverend Kate became a huge star through Gogglebox - and so did her beloved pooch.
The Church of England minister and husband Graham shot to fame during their five series of the show.
And they were always joined by faithful companion Buster, who was usually positioned lying down on the sofa with his legs in the air.
Kate is really passionate about adopting dogs and shares lots of updates about Buster on social media.
The greyhound even has his own Twitter account - @GoggleboxBuster - where he post updates of his owners' movements.
His Twitter bio reads: "I am a greyhound, I like to drink out of milk jugs, I love falling asleep in front of the telly. I have been accused of being a minger #gogglebox BAFTA winner"
The McCormicks
Gogglebox viewers were stunned in March 2018 when the McCormick family's dog appeared on screen.
The gigantic St. Bernard shocked fans of the Channel 4 show when he lumbered into the living room.
Mum Georgia asked the hound to give her his paw as he showed off some skills.
Viewers watching the Peterborough family's antics were in shock as John the dog lifted up his massive paw onto Georgia's lap.
"He's only doing that because he wants attention," said 14-year-old son Isaac.
Georgia then got the beloved family bet to give her his paw again.
Dad Scott told her to leave the paw on her leg and stop patting it, but the moment she did John ushered for her to keep doing it.
Gogglebox viewers watched in awe as they compared the dog to a horse and a mammoth on Twitter.
Abbie and Georgia’s staffy
Unlike the Malones’ Rottweilers or Pete’s Corgi that constantly cause chaos, Northern Goggleboxers Abbie and Georgia are frequently joined by Georgia’s chill Staffordshire Bull terrier, Vinnie.
After joining in 2018, the friends also became full time funny cast members, which meant dog lovers got an extra pooch to coo over on Friday evenings.
