Gogglebox’s Malone family flooded with support as they share emotional message after their dog dies

Gogglebox's Malone family have been flooded with sweet messages after sharing a heartfelt tribute to their dog Lucy who died.

The reality TV stars, made up of dad Tom Sr, Wife Julie and sons Tom Jr and Shaun quickly became fan favourites on the popular Channel 4 programme with their hilarious observations on the week's best TV.

Since joining the hit show 2014 they were often joined by their adorable dogs.

However, on Wednesday Julie and Tom Sr announced that another one of their beloved pets, Lucy, had died just seven months after they lost pooch Izzy.

In the heartbreaking post Tom Sr can be seen kissing Lucy on the head, he pinned: "Today we said goodbye to our beloved Lucy, she fought right to the end to stay with us. Now reunited with her sister Izzy.

They continued: "There are no words to describe how much you meant to us. Rest In Peace Sweetheart, you will always be in our hearts xx"

The comment section was quickie flooded with support from fans as well as Gogglebox co-stars.

Izzi Warner wrote: "Rest in peace sweet girl thinking of you all xx"

Dave and Shirley commented: "Sorry to hear that Tom love Dave and Shirley xx."

While Stephen Webb added: "Sorry to hear this! Sending hugs xx"

Former Gogglebox star, Tom Malone Jr, also took to the comments to send his tribute to the family pet and commented: "Such a good girl."

The reality star, who left Gogglebox last year also took to his own social media to share a tribute to his family pet.

Next to a photo of him kissing Lucy, Tom wrote: "Rest easy Lucy, you were a good girl."

One fan @ellieholdenn commented: "Sending you lots of love."

@julesann1970 wrote: "So sorry for your loss sweetheart. Fly high Lucy."

The family have since taken to Instagram to thank fans for the support.

While sharing a snap of Lucy and Julies they wrote: "Heartfelt thanks for all your kind comments, they mean a lot.

"We were so privileged to have Lucy and her sister Izzy. The house just isn’t the same."
