Gogglebox star Lee Riley has revealed his partner was stopped at airport security. During Friday, March 10's edition, Lee revealed Steve was stopped for an unusual reason.
The couple split their time between Cyprus and Hull. But Lee revealed Steven had a long delay during a recent international trip.
He said: "It was something in his hand luggage." To which fellow star and best friend Jenny Newby responded: "He only had hand luggage didn't he?"
But Lee explained: "He only had Ryvita and some digestive biscuits. And two tins of corned beef."
Lee said it was the beef that meant Steve was caught up at security. He said: "He was there for over an hour and a half. They were going to take the corned beef off but he said do you know how much that is? It's £3.10."
Lee and partner Steve have been together for almost three decades. According to LancsLive the pair split their time between a caravan park in Hull and the Mediterranean island.
Meanwhile Jenny and Lee prove popular with fans of the hit Channel 4 show. @sharonw1411 said: "Jenny and Lee" with a laughing emoji. While @Rosie12_1994 added: "Jenny and Lee are my favourites."
