Gogglebox's Lee had viewers laughing after he revealed how he was inspired by Jesus after he found £20 while doing his shopping. Lee, a regular on the show, told best friend Jenny how he found the cash outside his local supermarket.
Sitting in his caravan, where the pair regularly appear on the show, Lee told Jenny that he had found £20. He then asked her to guess where he had found it, which sparked Jenny to presume he'd found some of her cash in the caravan.
After calming her down and explaining the situation, he told her that he'd found it outside the supermarket. Jenny congratulated him on his good fortune.
"How much did your shopping cost?" She asked. To which Lee replied: "Forty-odd."
Jenny said: "Well, you got it half price then."
However, Lee went on to say that he was inspired to take the money back into the supermarket by thinking about Jesus. But his plan was not what Jenny expected.
"Yeah, I know, but finding £20... and on a Sunday. I thought, 'what would Jesus do?' I went back in."
Jenny was impressed by his apparent kindness. "Ah, did you?" she asked.
"Yeah," he replied. "And I did what Jesus did. I made it into wine. Two bottles for pinot grigio for nowt!"
