Gogglebox's Izzi Warner has shared her sister's pregnancy struggle as she wished her a happy birthday. The Channel 4 star took to social media on Wednesday (April 19) to pay tribute to her older sibling as she turned 32.
The hairdresser, who has starred in the hit programme since 2016, is currently expecting her first child with boyfriend Nat Eddleston. The joyous news came after Nat was seriously injured after being hit by a car on a night out in Leeds las year. He was in intensive care following the crash, which left him with a broken neck, a broken back and two collapsed lungs.
She casually revealed on the last series of Gogglebox that she was expecting her first child as her younger sister looked at her scan photo. She then revealed on camera back in February that she was having a baby boy as she discussed the new arrival with Izzi and her niece and nephew.

Alongside a sweet childhood snap of the pair, Izzi wrote on Instagram: "Happy birthday to my sis! @ellie__warner. Hope you’re having the best day…" Referencing her sister's struggle while pregnant, she went on: "Even though you can’t drink, eat sugar or carbs." Rounding off her post, as she referenced the adorable image of the pair as youngsters: "Looks like even I didn’t escape the 90s without a bowl cut."
The post was quickly flooded with birthday wishes for Ellie. Former Gogglebox co-star Mica Ven said: "Happy birthday sis. Sending love from Big Meesh & Marky @ellie__warner." While Lisa Baggs wrote: "Ahhh look at you two! Happy Birthday Ellie ! Hope you’ve had the best day x lots of love darling x."
Emmerdale star Michelle Hardwick also commented: "Happy birthday @ellie__warner have a fabulous day." As her fans and followers continued to fill the comments section.
Last month, Ellie revealed that she has been diagnosed with gestational diabetes after making a joke about Lord Alan Sugar while tuning in to watch The Apprentice with her sister during an episode of Gogglebox. "Alan Sugar is my only sugar fix now I have got gestational diabetes," she casually dropped into the conversation.
According to the NHS, gestational diabetes is high blood sugar that can develop during pregnancy but is more common in the second or third trimester and usually disappears after giving birth. It happens when your body cannot produce enough insulin – a hormone that helps control blood sugar levels – to meet your extra needs during pregnancy.
