Ellie Warner is reportedly taking a break from Gogglebox this week.
It comes after her boyfriend, Nat Eddleston, was in a major accident and is said to be recovering in hospital. He was allegedly involved in a 'devastating' hit and run while walking back from his local pub in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Nat is said to be living hour by hour in intensive care with a broken neck and collapsed lungs. Hairdresser Ellie, 31, who has appeared on the hit Channel 4 show alongside her sister Izzi since 2015, has been by his side in hospital since.

An insider has told the Daily Star that she will be taking some time away from the show to continue to be by his side. The source said: "Ellie has been told to take all the time she needs - everyone on the show is hoping and praying Nat will be ok." It is not yet known if Izzi will appear on screen in any capacity this Friday.
Ellie and Izzi have been fan favourites with Channel 4 viewers since they first appeared on Googlebox back in 2015. Many of their early Gogglebox scenes were filmed at their Yorkshire family home, where eldest sister Ellie still lived at the time. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, Izzi took a brief break from the show in 2020, with Ellie's boyfriend Nat stepping in to cover the star.
