Gogglebox’s Ellie Warner has revealed she was excited to return to the small screen following her boyfriend’s crash.

The reality star, 32, has taken a break since March when her boyfriend Nat Eddleston was rushed to intensive care after being hit by a car on a night out in Leeds.

Now the TV personality thanked her fans for their support as she confirmed she would return to the show on Channel 4 at 9pm on Friday night.

She wrote: “Looking forward to getting back on your screens tonight! Thank you for all the well wishes, we are really grateful that things are getting back to normal.”

In the accompanying photograph, she posed with her sister Izzi Warner on the sofa.

They both held their mugs of tea while they smiled for the camera.

The sisters have been fan favourites on the show since their first appearance so no wonder fans were delighted they were due back.

Also their Gogglebox co-stars wished them well in the comments section of the post.

Among the comments, Gogglebox’s Sophie Sandiford wrote: “Great to see you both back!! Xxxx.”

Fellow co-star Stephen Webb added: “Yayyyy we’ve missed you honeys xx.”

Gogglebox’s Dave and Shirley also commented: “Great to have you back xxxx.”

It is understood show bosses paid out the full £1,500 fee while Ms Warner took a break from the show to be with her boyfriend, according to reports.

Ms Warner has been a great support to her boyfriend since the accident and it has been reported she has not left his side.

Mr Eddleston suffered a broken back and collapsed lungs after he was hit by a car.

It comes after the TV star recently turned 32 and asked for kind donations to be made to brain injury charity.
