Gogglebox star and viewers' favourite Ellie Warner has given fans an update as she reveals she's hit a bump in the road as she navigates through motherhood.
The hairdresser from Leeds gave birth to baby boy Ezra earlier this month, and has revealed that she's suffering from mastitis which she described as "getting better".
Mastitis, according to the NHS website, is when the breasts become swollen, hot and painful. It is most common in breastfeeding women and does not usually need medical treatment.
The star opened up about having mastitis as she shared a sweet snap with baby Ezra as she trialled a sling that also allowed her to breastfeed.
Posting the snap on Instagram, new mum Ellie wrote: "Today at the sling library! Can’t wait to take it out for a test drive.
"got a bit of mastitis. but it’s getting better now thank god."
The star beamed for the camera in the snap as son Ezra was snuggled up to his mother breastfeeding.
Fans were quick to rush into the comments and share their own experience of mastitis, with some offering advice for the new mum.
One follower wrote: "Cabbage leaves in ya bra really works."
Another added: "Mastitis is the worse. I ended up feeding my son from just one boob and I looked like someone who could only afford one silicon implant."
"Cold cabbage leaves works wonders, warm flannels and hand express to realise pressure helps! What a beautiful natural photo," commented a third.
A fourth shared: "You look amazing!! You have lost so much weight, motherhood definitely suits you xx."
Another wrote: "You’re looking absolutely wonderful. Motherhood suits you."
Ellie welcomed her little bundle of joy with boyfriend Nat Eddleston and she announced her happy baby news back in December on the Channel 4 show, alongside her sister Izzi.
Taking to social media at the beginning of June, Ellie confirmed the arrival of little Ezra.
"Sweet baby Ezra. He has made our lives complete. We love you so much son," she wrote.
Her joyful pregnancy news came just one year after her boyfriend Nat was left fighting for his life following a horror car crash.
Nat was left needing treatment in intensive care after suffering from a broken neck, back and both his lungs collapsing as a result of his injuries.
