Gogglebox's Ellie and Izzi Warner leave fans feeling 'queasy' after letting dog drink from their mugs

Gogglebox stars Ellie and Izzi Warner left viewers feeling "queasy" after they let their dog drink from their mugs.

Just minutes into the first episode of the new series, fans were shocked as Ellie let one of her dogs drink some of the tea from her mug as she and her sister discussed the pet's toilet habits.

Viewers took to Twitter to share their disgust at the clip with one saying it made them "feel very queasy", the Mirror reports.

One shocked fan wrote: "One of Ellie’s dogs drinking from her glass at the beginning made me feel very queasy #Gogglebox," whilst another remarked: "The dog drinking the tea!!! #Gogglebox."

A third viewer insisted "that was why they wouldn’t have a dog," whilst another pointed out: "Oh it looks like @ellieandizzi dog has a drink of a cup of tea. #Gogglebox."

A fifth shared: "Dog drinking out of the cup #Gogglebox."

Ellie and Izzi on Gogglebox (Channel 4)

Leeds-based Ellie Warner owns an Italian Greyhound, which is called Mick.

It is not the first time the pair have left viewers puzzled, as back in December, they surprised fans with the way they use their cutlery.

The pair were sat together discussing their dinner of chicken kievs, with Izzy saying: "I were trying to find something to have for tea on Sunday.

"Because I thought ‘I’m not going out again over the weekend. I’m probably going to be a little bit hungover on Sunday. We’re not eating out ‘cause we ate out last Sunday, so I need to find something for Sunday tea."

However, fans were more focused on how the duo were using their knives and forks.

Fans watched on in horror as Ellie spooned what looked like mashed potato into her mouth with her fork, while Izzi seemed to hold her knife and fork at unusual angles.

"You can tell a lot by the way people use a knife and fork. #gogglebox," one viewer wrote, whilst another added: "Can no one use a knife fork properly anymore? #gogglebox."

The Channel 4 show returned this week, as famous duos - including the likes of Jenny Newby and Lee Riley and Mary Killen and Giles Wood - gave their verdict on the latest television shows.
