While watching people watch telly might not seem like an interesting TV show the Channel 4 series Gogglebox has proven it is. The show, where viewers watch different families watch TV, is a great success with many people loving the programme.
Now there is new series of Gogglebox that is set to air and is sure to have viewers laughing along. Familiar faces and families will be returning to the cast and the show will be aired on Channel 4.

When does Gogglebox start?
The new series of Gogglebox will begin on Friday, September 9. The show will air at 9pm on Channel 4 and the episodes are an hour long. Each episode will show clips of the different families on the show.
Who is in the Gogglebox cast?
Channel 4 has confirmed that "all the regular" families will be returning to the show but has not confirmed if any new families will be joining the show.
Dave and Shirley: Welsh couple Dave and Shirley will be returning to the show. The loveable husband and wife duo are from Caerphilly and have confirmed on their Instagram that they will be returning.
Jenny and Lee: Best friends Jenny and Lee will also be returning to Gogglebox. The Channel 4 Gogglebox Instagram page posted a photo of the pair saying they were "#GoggleboxReady".
Siddiqui family: Father and sons Sid, Bassit, and Umar announced they will be returning to Gogglebox in May 2022 after they finished filming the previous series. Posting to Instagram they said: "That's a wrap! End of another fab series of #gogglebox and we are heading out for a few well done drinks. See you all in September for series 20!"
Giles and Mary: Wiltshire couple Giles and Mary are expected to make their return to Gogglebox. The couple often delights viewers with their unique views and opinions.
Tremaine, Twaine, and Tristan: The Bristol brothers Termaine, Twaine, and Tristan are set to be back on their sofa for Gogglebox.
Sophie and Pete: Blackpool siblings Sophie and Pete are very popular with Gogglebox viewers and are expected to be back on the show. Viewers love their close friendship and their banter.
The Malone family: The Malone family, made up of mum Julie, dad Tom, and son Shaun – and their snacks – are expected to make a return. This family is also loved for their funny remarks.
