Gogglebox's Jenny has a completely different off-screen partner which may surprise some viewers.
Her real life is somewhat of a secret - as her husband Ray has never made an appearance on the popular Channel 4 programme.
In fact, he prefers to avoid the limelight completely, the Mirror reports.
This explains why Jenny asked her best friend Lee whether he would do the audition for Gogglebox with her.
Lee found it an irresistible opportunity, although he did said he had to think about it, as like Jenny, he has a partner of his own.
Steve Mail has been with Lee for almost 30 years now after they met in Cyprus and were separated when Lee had to return to the UK.
Fans recognise the best friends, originally from Hull, as they film the programme in Lee's caravan at Patrington Haven caravan park.
In a previous interview he said Jenny asked him if he wanted to do a test filming with her.
"I'd never seen Gogglebox, it had only just started, so I walked into filming swearing my head off because she got me out of bed on my day off", he said.
The pair first met when Lee was a regular in Jenny's pub, The Crown Inn, in Paull, East Yorkshire.
They have been inseparable as friends for 20 years and now TV watching sofa pals.
Jenny told Ireland's Big Issue: "He became a regular in 1994 and used to come in pretty much every night with his partner and we were friends from the off. We've been best friends ever since."
Although they don't live together, they film in Lee's caravan for Gogglebox. And off-screen they go on holiday in pre-pandemic times.
During the first lockdown they isolated in the caravan together to ensure they could continue filming.
They first shot to fame eight years ago and have built up a loyal fan base. Their friendship has continued to flourish during their time on Gogglebox.
