Gogglebox will not air on Friday (October 21) as planned due to a TV schedule shakeup.
For many people up and down the country, the start of the weekend is signalled by the Channel 4 show. But this week, Gogglebox will move to a new timeslot, with Friday Night Live instead airing at 9pm on Channel 4.
Sir Elton John is to host a one-off revival of the iconic comedy and entertainment show, linking in with Channel 4's 40th anniversary celebrations. He reunites the game-changing architects of anarchy who broke through in the mid-1980s, blending their ground-breaking comedy exploits with today's trailblazers who are storming the circuit.

The host is joined by cohorts from the original series such as Harry Enfield, Julian Clary and Jo Brand, and contemporary performers, as well as live music from Self Esteem.
Thankfully, Gogglebox will instead air on Saturday at 9pm on Channel 4.
However, some fans are less than pleased with the shakeup. Reacting to the news on Twitter, Anne Hewson said: "Hope the move to Saturday [is for] one week only- why not have [Friday Night Live] on Saturday or AFTER?".
Emma Bell said: "Oh Gogglebox needs to be on a Friday not Saturday as Gogglebox is the gateway to the weekend!" R Everson said: "Soooo Gogglebox is changing from Friday to Saturday, that’s right when strictly and the voice are on so now can’t watch Gogglebox so thanks for that".
