Gogglebox fans wish Malone family well as they swap UK for USA

Gogglebox fans have wished Tom Sr and Julie Malone well as they have left England for the USA.

The Malone family has established themselves as fan favourites on the popular Channel 4 programme since first appearing back in 2014. Viewers are invited into their home as they see the married couple joined by their children Shaun and Vanessa to give their feedback on the week's best telly.

Gogglebox's 21st series drew to a close last week, with the Malones announcing "that's a wrap" ahead of Friday's episode. The show is expected to return in September as it has in previous years, with Celebrity Gogglebox to air instead over the summer.

And with more time on their hands now, Julie and Tom have jetted off to San Francisco. In a short video shared with their many Instagram followers Julie could be seen with her hood wrapped tightly around her face amid less than kind weather.

Tom said: "Julie's feeling the cold wind here in San Francisco aren't you Julie? Proper holiday mode, come from sunny Manchester and it's freezing here. Proper holiday mode". Julie explained she and Tom were on the top of a bus.

Taking to the comments section, Mandy said: "The worst. Hope you have a great trip regardless", and Leanne said: "Have a fab time guys!"

Elaine said: "Lol you two are so funny", while Sandra said: "Ah you should've stayed in the warmth of the UK. Quite warm here, in the 20s".
