Gogglebox viewers have been left feeling emotional tonight (March 11) as the Channel 4 show aired its ten-year anniversary special. The show is loved by Brits across the country, many of whom have been loyal watchers since the show first aired.
Ten years after the programme was first shown on TV screens, Channel 4 aired the one-off edition of the popular series to mark the milestone. Clips of the original Gogglebox cast were shown, some of whom have now sadly passed away.
According to the Daily Star, the voice of the late narrator Caroline Aherne opened the show as a video from the first-ever episode played out to viewers watching at home. Clips of June and Leon Bernicoff as well as Mary Cook were also shown.
