Gogglebox viewers were left thrilled during Friday's episode when they were introduced to a new member of the show.
Some fans of the show were unsure whether the new series would air tonight (Friday) as planned Channel 4 amid heavily amended TV schedules in the wake of the death of Queen Elizabeth II. The nation is mourning after Her Majesty died at Balmoral yesterday aged 96.
On Friday, Channel 4 announced a schedule shake up, with an extended edition of the network's news programme airing from midday. The Last Leg was also pulled from the schedule with host Adam Hills announcing "it didn't feel right" following The Queen's passing.

However, Channel 4 bosses said they decided to broadcast Gogglebox as it is a "much loved national institution and it will... bring a valuable sense of continuity for many of our viewers".
Ahead of the programme starting, Channel 4 told viewers it would only be airing for 45 minutes due to schedule changes, and that every scene was filmed prior to the news of Queen Elizabeth II's passing.
As the first episode of Gogglebox's 20th series got underway, best friends Georgia Bell and Abbie Lynn could be seen together on their well-known sofa. Georgia recently gave birth to a baby son.
The reality star became mum to Hugh in July, and Friday's episode saw her introduce him to the world. He was cuddled by his "auntie" Abbie, when he decided to fill his nappy. A shocked Abbie screamed "Oh my God!" before adding: "It's a good job I love you".
Viewers at home were thrilled to see Hugh for the first time. Taking to Twitter, Carl Adams said: "What a way to start Gogglebox, with Georgia's newborn".
Andy Wilkin said: "The baby has arrived!!!", while Tom M said: "Cute baby". Haifischfrau said: "OMG. Georgia had her baby. Such a cutie".
