Gogglebox fans have been left overwhelmed with excitement as two new additions were announced for the celerity spin-off. The Channel 4 show has been a hit amongst viewers for 10 years with those tuning in to watch a bunch of normal folk giving their honest reviews on the newest TV show, classic films and breaking news announcements.
But fans were left upset earlier this month when the most recent series came to an end. Their upset soon turned to anger when the planned TV schedule showed Gogglebox in its usual 9pm time slot with many thinking they were getting a bonus episode of the much-loved show.
However, it ended up being a repeat and disgruntled fans soon flocked to social media to share their views. But last week they were finally able to get their new Gogglebox fix - this time with the celebrity spin-off which continues on Friday night (June 23) with more famous faces.

Viewers have already seen a number of familiar faces making a comeback. They included Nick and Liv Grimshaw, Bez, Shaun Ryder, Paul Sinha, Olly Levy, Clare Balding, Alice Arnold, Martin and Roman Kemp, Tubsey, Big Zuu, Hyder, Rob Beckett and Tom Allen.
However, more who have taken to their sofas for Celebrity Gogglebox before will be back for the upcoming episode including Mo Gilligan and Babatunde Aleshe, Denise Van Outen and Duncan James, and Melanie C and her brother Paul.
But there is a set of newcomers that has left fans preparing to witness 'TV gold' as not only were the superstar pairing of Beverley Knight and Adam Lambert confirmed for the next episode, Royale Family legends Sue Johnson and Ricky Tomlinson will be reuniting years after becoming one of the country's best-loved on-screen families.
Announcing the news with a picture of the pair together on the sofa, Gogglebox's official social media account confirmed: "It's a long-awaited sofa-reunion for our favourite TV family, Ricky Tomlinson and Sue Johnston!" And it wasn't long before the comments section was flooded with excited fans quoting classic lines from the classic British comedy series.
@italktelly simply replied: "ICONIC." @k.probert commented: "Can’t wait it will be like watching the Royle Family again." @davethompson4506 said: "Please say they are doing it as Jim and Barb." @lewisshawdesign wrote: "I hope she asks him… 'Av ya ad ya Tea?… what did ya av'."

And they were even compared to a pair of late Gogglebox legends who fans having been missing since their sad passing. @babsodonnell said: "Now I will finally be able to watch it again after missing Leon and June."
