Gogglebox fans 'howling' as Stephen Webb is pictured with his 'twin'

Gogglebox fans have rushed to comment as Stephen Webb shared a photo alongside his "twin".

The TV star and his husband Daniel Lustig, have established themselves as fan favourites on the popular Channel 4 programme with their hilarious observations on the week's best TV. The couple has once again invited viewers into their home for season 19, which premiered in February.

Stephen is one of Gogglebox's longest-standing members, as he appeared in series one alongside then partner Ashby-Steed. The only other family to have appeared in all 19 seasons are the Siddiquis.

When Chris left the show, Stephen's mum Pat stood in for a while. And now Stephen has taken some time away from filming to treat Pat to a meal out.

Sharing a snap of the two on Instagram, he said: "Out to dinner with this one! #mummypat #nutternumber1". The photo shows Stephen and his mum pulling the same open-mouthed smiling faces and wearing identical blue jumpers.

Followers were quick to comment on their likeness, with some saying they were "twinning". Aaron Prout said: "You could pass as twins, strong gene pool", to which Stephen replied: "Strong and proud".

Nicola Williams said: "You look so alike in this picture!!. Lucy H said: "Definitely your mother's son! Spit of each other". Siobhan said: "No I'm howling, I looked at your mum first and thought it was you with a wig on".

Gogglebox airs Fridays at 9pm on Channel 4 and All 4
