Gogglebox fans have been left “excited” after Dave and Shirley’s latest announcement ahead of the new season of the Channel 4 show.
The show has been popular ever since it hit our screens and will now be returning for its 20th series in just a number of days. The popular families who appear on the show have left viewers in fits of laughter with their reactions to the latest TV show and films and even shed a tear.
Married couple Dave and Shirley are among the pair fans can’t get enough of ever since they joined the show from their Welsh home back in 2015. Channel 4 bosses have now confirmed Gogglebox will return to our screens this Friday, September 9, Which has left fans all wondering if Dave and Shirley will also be returning to the show.

Ahead of the latest series the pair issued an update on Instagram which left viewers “excited”. Sharing a snap of themselves on their iconic sofa, the couple said: "Don't forget Friday folks, #gogglebox is back on the 9th xx".
Fans were happy to hear that the pair will be ]coming back as they went straight to the comment section to reveal that they have been missed.
Geraldine Ahern commented: "I've missed you", while Suzanne Digan said: "I can't wait, so excited to be seeing you back on my TV. Hope you have both had an amazing summer".
Rachel Violet Faliveno said: "Get the brandy out Dave!.....much love..." While Shauna Denny added: "Oh I can’t wait, I’ve missed you two!"
