Gogglebox fans have been left emotional after regular armchair critics Dave and Shirley issued an update on Monday.
The Channel 4 programme has become one of the nation's best TV shows in recent years. An interesting but simple premise, the series introduced viewers to a range of friends and families who offer their opinions on the week's TV.
Now with the show about to embark on its 20th series, we all have our favourite families, those who make us crack up laughing - or even shed a tear.

Many fans love Welsh married couple Dave and Shirley for their hilarious quips on the week's best telly. The couple have been welcoming viewers into their Caerphilly home since 2015.
Channel 4 bosses have now confirmed Gogglebox will return to our screens this Friday (September 9). Ahead of the latest series, Dave and Shirley issued an update on Instagram - and it's left some fans quite emotional.
Sharing a snap of themselves on their iconic sofa, the couple said: "Don't forget Friday folks, #gogglebox is back on the 9th xx".
Taking to the comments section, Geraldine Ahern said: "I've missed you", while Suzanne Digan said: "I can't wait, so excited to be seeing you back on my TV. Hope you have both had an amazing summer". Rachel Violet Faliveno said: "Get the brandy out Dave!.....much love..." and Shauna Denny said: "Oh I can’t wait, I’ve missed you two!"
