Viewers of Channel 4 series Gogglebox have been left shocked by sisters Ellie and Izzi reuniting amid the national lockdown.
The two sisters haven't appeared on-screen together in recent episodes as the pair are not believed to be residing in the same house.
Due to current social distancing measures imposed by the UK government to battle the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, citizens are banned from seeing individuals from other households unless providing key services.
Ellie and Izzi Warner haven't been seen together in recent instalments, with Ellie's boyfriend sat in Izzi's usual spot for these episodes.
However, Friday night's episode saw the sisters back together again and commenting on the latest television content of the previous week

Naturally, fans of the hilarious show were confused by the sisterly reunion amid the coronavirus pandemic.
One wrote on Twitter : "Aren’t Ellie and Izzy from two separate households? @C4Gogglebox #Gogglebox."
Another commented: "A bit irresponsible when households aren’t suppose to mix? "
Elsewhere, another Gogglebox viewer tweeted: "I’m proper confused... They replaced Izzi with Ellie’s bf cos they weren’t isolating together, but now they’re back filming together??
"Yet C4 said at the beginning that the cast is adhering to social distancing... clearly not huns #Gogglebox "

Meanwhile, another fan wrote: "I think it just sends out a bad message to viewers that it’s okay to visit family! Also looks like they’ve given up on social distancing when they were clearly doing it for a couple of weeks.
"I just hope viewers don’t also think it’s okay to give up!"
One Twitter user wrote: "They’re all following social distancing guidelines” First scene: Those two northern girls are back together Well that’s a load of s***e then #gogglebox"

Finally, another questioned: "I have a question about tonight's #Gogglebox Ellie & Izzy were reunited sat on their usual spots on the sofa with cushions around them.
"How come I can't see my family but they're allowed to be together again this week?! It's sending out the wrong message to people."
