Gogglebox makes a welcome return to the small screen on Friday 26 February, but there's been an array of families who have featured on the hit reality show.
The popular series first aired on Channel 4 back in March 2013, and ever since, fans have fallen in love with a lot of the characters and their hilarious comments.
Memorable pairs such as best mates Jenny and Lee and couple Giles and Mary have kept the nation entertained as they tune into a variety of TV shows.
Channel 4 are there to capture their flippant comments and often funny reactions as they watch popular TV dramas, one off documentaries, and shows such as Countdown.
But who is returning to Gogglebox for the 2021 series? We take a look at the familiar faces who will be perched on their sofas this year...
Stephen Webb

Stephen Webb has been a part of the Gogglebox family from the very beginning after joining the show in 2013, where he appeared alongside his ex partner Chris Ashby-Steed.
However, these days Stephen appears alongside his husband Daniel Lustig, who first popped up in 2019.
Stephen is a hairdresser from Brighton, and often has viewers in stitches with his witty one-liners.
Before Daniel's appearance, Stephen sat on the sofa next to his mum Pat - and it was just as hilarious.
Siddiqui family

The adorable Siddiqui family consists of brothers Baasit, Umar and their dad Sid - and they have also been Gogglebox regulars since the Channel 4 programme started.
The threesome are a family from Derby, but Sid was born in Pakistan and moved to the UK when he was 16 and has been living here ever since.
Third brother Raza occasionally makes an appearance on the show, but usually works late so rarely has time to film.
Sid had been missing from the show in 2020, with many viewers taking to Twitter with their concerns.
But assuring fans he is absolutely fine, Sid : "Hi, good morning everyone thank you so much for so many well wishes. Apologies for not tweeting I have been a bit under the weather but I’m absolutely fine now and hopefully be with you soon on #Gogglebox Please take care and be safe."
Michael family

The Michaels are another family who have been on Gogglebox since the beginning, but they were stripped of their status after four series.
Dad Andrew was always joined by wife Carolyne and two of their kids, daughter Alex and son Louis.
Other daughter Catheryne would later appear and confuse viewers with her similarity to Alex, while others son Pascal has not joined the family on the sofa yet.
They were a Gogglebox staple until Andrew revealed he was running as an MP for UKIP in the 2015 general election.
Channel 4 bosses decided that Andrew could not hold a political seat and sit on his sofa discussing the week's telly, so the whole family were booted off in December 2014.
But it seems it was all for nothing as Andrew failed to win the Hastings and Rye seat for UKIP in the election and the Michaels were invited back in September 2015.
Andrew decided to put his political career on hold so that his family could return to Gogglebox.
Jenny and Lee

There's no denying that Jenny and Lee are one of the funniest pairings to have ever appeared on Gogglebox.
The twosome have been friends for more than 20 years and film from Lee’s caravan in Patrington Haven caravan park.
Jenny and Lee don't usually live together, but they isolated in Lee's caravan during the pandemic so they could continue filming Gogglebox.
They became friends when Jenny was the landlady of a pub called The Crown Inn in Paull, and Lee was a regular.
The pair have been inseparable ever since and often go on holiday together, with Lee previously describing Jenny as his family rather than just a friend.
Malone family

The Malone family consists of mum Julie, dad Tom Senior, and sons Tom Jr and Shaun.
They joined Gogglebox for the fourth series back in 2014 and have been regulars ever since.
The Malone family hail from Manchester and are known for always having a bowl full of artfully arranged snacks in front of them, but seemingly never eating them.
Often seen alongside them on the sofa are their adorable rottweillers who go by the names Dave, Lucy, Izzy and Joe.
Linda and Pete McGarry

Linda and Pete joined the show in series two in 2013, and also appeared in series three with their son George Gilbey.
However, the family left the show in 2014 so that George could enter the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Linda and Pete rejoined without George in 2016, and have been regulars on the show ever since.
The couple live in Clacton, Essex and over the years they have fostered more than 68 children.
Dave and Shirley

Welsh couple Dave and Shirley Griffiths are in their 60s and are also unintentionally funny when it comes to watching TV together.
The have been on Gogglebox since 2015, and admitted the were massive fans of the show before they were spotted by a casting agent.
Dave's awkward sitting position on the sofa has often left viewers wondering why exactly he's laid down like that, as it looks like it's putting some serious strain on his neck.
However, he's addressed this with fans in the past and told them: "Don’t you worry about my seating position, I am more than comfortable! I do get up and stretch my legs."
Ellie and Izzi Warner

Ellie Warner and her younger sister Izzi are from Leeds and made their debut on Gogglebox in 2015 after Ellie was approached by an old friend who was casting for the show.
While the Gogglebox scenes are filmed at their family home where Ellie still lives, Izzi has her own flat which she shares with her five-year-old son Bobby and baby girl Bessie Rose.
Due to the pandemic and social distancing rules, Izzi took a break from the show and Ellie's boyfriend Nat temporarily starred alongside her instead.
However, when Izzi returned to her sister's house and sat two metres apart, Gogglebox received 163 Ofcom complaints as a result.
There was such a backlash that Channel 4 was forced to release a statement explaining: “Most of the families live together but where they don’t, they are complying with PHE [Public Health England] social distancing guidelines.
“Gogglebox will only film with families where it’s safe to do so. The health and safety of our cast and crew is paramount.”
Mary and Marina

Mary and Marina are two best pals from Bristol and are an absolute joy yo watch on Gogglebox.
Mary admitted in 2019 that she was 90 years old, while Marina said she was 88.
The OAPs met while living at the St Monica Trust retirement village in Bristol nine years ago, and they both still live there now and joined the Channel 4 show in 2016 for series eight.
Mary and Marina were absent from recent episodes, no doubt because they were self-isolating in their individual rooms.
So, here's hoping that they will be back on our TV screens soon as the lockdown restrictions begin to ease.
Pete and Sophie Sandiford

Brother and sister duo Pete and Sophie Sandiford are from Blackpool and clearly have a great sibling relationship.
The pair live together which is why they were able to continue filming during the coronavirus pandemic and social distancing rules.
However, it is unclear whether they film at their parents' house or if they have moved out.
Pete and Sophie joined Gogglebox in 2018 and previously described being cast as a "pinch-me moment".
Giles Wood and Mary Killen

Couple Giles Wood and Mary Killen are pure TV gold and provided some laugh out loud moments ever since they joined Gogglebox for the fifth series back in 2015.
The pair met when they were 21 and have been married for more than 30 years, while they have lived in their cottage in Wiltshire for 28 years.
Giles and Mary have two grown up daughters and one of them was meant to appear on the show alongside Giles, but they decided to stay out of the limelight instead.
Plummer family

Tremaine, Twaine and Tristan Plummer are the three brothers who joined Gogglebox in series eight.
The siblings are based in Bristol and they’re also football mad.
In fact, Hereford FC fans might recognise Tristan as he plays as a winger for the club, while Twaine is also a footballer, for Bradford Town.
Other Gogglebox stars that will hopefully make a return this year include Marcus and Mica, and Abbie and Georgia, who joined in 2018.
Paige and Sally, and Sue and Steve, first made their debuts in 2019, so they're fairly new but will no doubt be making their feelings known on the most recent popular TV series and providing laughs along the way.
Gogglebox returns to Channel 4 on February 26 at 9pm.
