After an age of hype, God of War Ragnarok is just a matter of hours away and we’re about to get to experience what is one of the most critically acclaimed games of 2022. We’ve already given our thoughts on what’s in store with our spoiler-free God of War Ragnarok review, but we can’t wait for everyone else to get their hands on it.

God of War Ragnarok release time
If you haven’t already pre-ordered the game, then you have the opportunity to set up a new PlayStation account with the region set to New Zealand, as they’ll be getting the game first. Midnight November 9 in New Zealand is 3am PT/6am ET/11am GMT on November 8. However, if you’ve already pre-ordered the game then there’s not a lot you can do without wasting money.
God of War Ragnarok pre-loads
Pre-loads for the game are already live. When you pre-order the game on the PS Store, you should immediately be given the option to start the download. If you weren’t then just go to the game on your home menu and select the countdown timer, this will let you start the pre-load.
