Kite fanatics and families have four days left to enjoy a spectacular waterfront kite experience during "Iconsiam Summer Kite Playground 2022" at Iconsiam, Charoen Nakhon Road, from Thursday to Sunday, from 4pm to 8pm.

Held in collaboration with the Kite Sports Association of Thailand Chula-Pak Pao, the festival features a massive recreational kite-flying ground packed with kite-flying shows and activities. Discover the stories and origins of traditional Thai kites from each of the four regions in an exhibition.

They include a Chula kite from the Central Region, Phra Ruang kite from the North, Song Hong kite from the Northeast and Wong Duen kite from the South.

There will be two cultural shows presenting the legends of Chula-Pak Pao kites and Isan kites, and an inflatable kite show featuring an eclectic mix of 30m-long ornately decorated kites by Thaitan Kite Team Thailand that won first place in an international competition.

They will conduct a kite-making workshop for enthusiasts, as well.

Also, witness varieties of international kites and Thailand's longest LED giant octopus kite.

This is also a wonderful opportunity for the whole family to have fun flying their own kites together. Champion experts will also be there to offer kite-flying techniques.
