Andi Peters surprised Good Morning Britain fans today with his real age as he marked his birthday live on air.
The cash competition king shocked viewers tuning into the ITV breakfast show this morning, as he joked he was 31, before confirming his real age was way above that - but fans insisted he didn't look his real age as they took to Twitter to wish him a happy birthday.
Appearing live in the studio today after a whirlwind trip across Europe this week to promote the ITV show's latest cash competition for viewers, Andi said: "It's Friday, there's free cash, it's my birthday".
Presenter Ben Shephard then said: "Andi Peters, did you just slip in that it was your birthday?"
"I may have mentioned it was my birthday today, but only very briefly," Andi joked back, before Ben quizzed him on his age. He said he was 31 before quickly admitting he was actually 52.
Surprised fans took to Twitter to share their shock at Andi's real age.
"Andi Peters is never 52! Happy birthday," one wrote, as a second added: "Andi looks younger now than he did twenty odd years ago."
A third penned: "Andi just doesn't age," with a fourth writing: "Andi Peters turning 52 makes me feel like a dinosaur."
Whilst it may have seemed they forgot his birthday, that later proved not to be the case as Andi was surprised with a very special Love Island themed cake - complete with a figurine of him as a muscly villa bombshell.
The incredible cake, complete with a revolving heart, was described as "extraordinary" by Andi, as Ben joked about the white heart at the top, saying it "looked like the tooth he'd lose when he eats the cake".
Andi previously revealed ITV have given him a strict rule on what he can call a life-changing sum of money.
"I can't say the word life changing unless it's £101,000 or more. And I always argue saying 'I'm really sorry, £3,000 changed her life, she doesn't have to get the bus to work anymore, so for her it was life changing,'" he revealed.
"It is all subjective. What is any sum of money? I took this all the way. I went all the way to the top. So now the rule is £101,000 and above is life changing. That's the new rule. But if it's ninety-nine (thousand) I can't say it's life changing."
