GMB Star Refuses to Send Son to War in Ukraine – ‘They Don’t Want Him!’

(Image: ITV)

Good Morning Britain star Narinder Kaur has fiercely criticized Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s proposal to deploy British troops to Ukraine, firmly stating that her own son will never fight for Britain.

Starmer, writing in The Telegraph, declared that the UK is “ready to play a leading role” in Ukraine’s defense and security, committing £3 billion annually until 2030. He also emphasized that beyond military aid, the UK must be “ready and willing to contribute to security guarantees to Ukraine by putting our own troops on the ground if necessary.”

During a heated debate on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, hosts Charlotte Hawkins and Richard Madeley grilled Health Secretary Wes Streeting about the potential risks of sending British forces into the conflict. Following the discussion, Narinder Kaur took to social media, expressing skepticism about the prime minister’s stance and the impact of his proposal.

While defending Starmer’s position, she was directly asked: “Will your son be going?” Narinder’s response was resolute: “No. He will never fight for Britain after the racial riots back in August.”

Clarifying further in a follow-up post, she explained: “Lots asking whether I’d send my 19yo son to fight for Britain in a war. Hell NO. My son will never fight for Britain after he saw the race riots last August. He knows he isn’t wanted. (Previously, he would have).”

Narinder’s comments seemingly refer to last year’s far-right riots across the UK, which were fueled by misinformation following the tragic stabbing of three innocent children in Southport. False social media claims alleged that the attacker was an immigrant who arrived on a small boat, but it was later confirmed that 17-year-old Axel Muganwa Rudakubana from Banks, Lancashire, was responsible for the crimes.

After facing backlash online, with some accusing her of advocating for other people’s children to be sent to war while protecting her own, Narinder fired back: “Do keep up, I’ve done countless tweets saying no working class should be used in war. Politicians can send their own kids.”

Her blunt remarks have sparked intense debate on social media, with supporters applauding her outspokenness while critics argue her stance undermines the collective responsibility of national defense.
