GMB's Susanna Reid left mortified as Ed Balls 'puts moves on her'

Susanna Reid looked extremely uncomfortable as Ed Balls thrust himself towards her during Tuesday's instalment of Good Morning Britain.

The 51-year-old presenter was joined by Ed Balls to present the popular morning programme, and Richard Arnold joined them to discuss the latest TV and showbiz news. Viewers were first shown clips of Downton Abbey stars on the red carpet ahead of its new film release.

Later the discussion turned to Strictly - which Ed appeared on in 2016. Psy's Gangnam Style then played into the studio.

Ed cemented his place in the Strictly Come Dancing hall of fame with he and professional partner Katya Jones performed a salsa to the hit track. And it didn't take long for Mr Balls to recreate the scenes on GMB.

Ed thrust himself towards Susanna, in a move he called "the pony". His co-host looked mortified, while Richard Arnold said: "Even I'm not dignifying that with a response".

Fans were not impressed with Ed's dancing. Taking to Twitter, Susan McLellan said: "It's far too early for Ed Balls to be putting Gangnam Style 'pony' moves on Susanna Reid".

Rachel A said: "Please God no Gangnam style this early please". Karen said: "I wish I could unsee that".

Good Morning Britain airs from 6am on ITV and the ITV Hub
