Good Morning Britain's Laura Tobin was forced to brush off an awkward encounter with a stranger during a live broadcast earlier today.
The meteorologist, 41, was interrupted by a male admirer as she was reporting live from Stonehenge as this year's Summer Solstice festivities drew to a close.
"There are lots of people very interested in Laura’s weather forecast," Susanna Reid quipped from the ITV studio as a man appeared on camera and wrapped his arm around Laura.
"How many new friends have you made this morning Laura?" Susanna went on to joke as Laura tried to laugh the encounter off.
The man then proceeded to wrap a foil blanket around the weather presenter, assuming she might be "cold".
Laughing as the man flashed a big smile for the camera, Laura politely told him: "Thank you very much. That's really helpful and kind.
But the man didn't stop there, going on to flirt with Laura and seemingly try make a move on the TV star during her live broadcast.
"I really like your energy, you’re a really pretty lady," he told the Good Morning Britain star. "I just want to be part of the culture, and see the beauty, this energy, your entourage."
"She's married!" Susanna yelled from the studio.
"Yeah, I am married but that’s so kind of you," Laura added as she continued to try brush the man off.
Undeterred, the hopeful man continued with his attempt to woo Laura.
"That’s very helpful to know, the very question, do you have a boyfriend or not? Because if you are taken, it’s okay, yeah sure we can enjoy other vibes, flirting," he told the star while the cameras rolled.
The lovestruck man eventually got the hint, allowing Laura to say: "Shall I just get on telling people about Stonehenge?"
Following Laura's report, Richard Madeley couldn't resist cracking a joke back in the studio about the awkward exchange.
As the cameras panned back to the studio, Richard held a mobile phone to his ear and pretended to be on the phone to Laura's husband, raising a chuckle from his co-host Susanna.
Viewers watching at home took to social media to cringe over the moment the man tried to hit on Laura on live TV.
"The devil works hard but this man worked harder," one Twitter user declared.
"Join the queue mate," another added, as a third confessed: "Don’t blame him for trying to be fair."
