GMB's Ben Shephard tells Kate Garraway to 'be quiet' during clash

Good Morning Britain's Ben Shephard reprimanded co-presenter Kate Garraway for continuously speaking over him.

Ben launched into a passionate discussion over last night's controversial Germany and Japan World Cup game. The match saw Japan emerge as victors over the 2014 champs but only after a debate on whether or not a goal was allowed.

Kaoru Mitoma's cutback for Ao Tanaka's tap-in happened just after the ball looked to have crossed the byeline but was eventually ruled it did not cross the line. Japan went on to knock Germany out of the tournament which became a heated talking point on this morning's GMB.

Ben was eager to get the conversation going but felt some pushback from his co-presenter Kate. Immediately shutting down her attempts to converse with him, he firmly said: "You need to be quiet for a second."

Kate added: "Oh, nobody told me that." Kate sat back and let Ben give his personal analysis of the situation before he moved on to a physical demonstration of what the line crossing looked like.

With a toy ball on their desk, he said: "Move your papers, woman!" Kate then joked she didn't agree to be told to be quiet or see to demands as Ben continued his explanation.
