GMB hosts apologise for Kate Beckinsale's top after it 'slipped through the net'

Good Morning Britain presenters Ben Shephard and Charlotte Hawkins were forced to apologise to viewers after showing a video of Kate Beckinsale wearing an offensive top.

The ITV hosts were debating whether to feed wild foxes on Friday's episode, after 48-year-old Kate went viral for posting a clip of herself feeding a fox in her garden.

The video was played during the segment and the actor could be seen wearing a hot pink blazer over a white T-shirt which featured the word 'f**k'.

Ben said: "Apologises, apparently the T-shirt in that video may have had a swear word on."

He added; "I didn't see it but..." Charlotte Hawkins said: "If you're eagle-eyed and offended we apologise," before Ben added: "For letting that slip through the net."

Kate came under fire earlier this week after feeding wild foxes.

On Instagram, she wrote: "I've been so touched during a really hard week by the absolute force that is kindness and friendship...

"Please, everyone, put kindness somewhere, anywhere. It's life-altering. Thank you so much to all my special people. And my little orphan bestie."

Journalist Mark Palmer told GMB it is "irresponsible" to feed wild foxes, while wildlife gardener Kate Bradbury argued it is "our duty" to feed them after taking away their natural habitat.

Kate sparked a debate online (@katebeckinsale/Instagram)

She believes that there is no harm feeding foxes occasionally because there's less space for wild animals to find natural food.

Despite some people disagreeing with Kate's decision to feed the fox, she has also received support from fans.

Writing in her Instagram comments, one person said: "Thank you Kate for sharing the pictures and videos of Peepo. I've enjoyed watching them."

Another wrote: "Thanks for sharing the vids and pics that you have, the fox is adorable."

A third commented: "The fox is happy and healthy. And that's all that matters."
