Good Morning Britain viewers have taken to social media to call out an April Fools' Day prank. ITV's weather correspondent Laura Tobin was broadcasting from a greenhouse when she was handed a "one of a kind plant" by a guest describing its importance.
Laura was told the new plant was very unique and the first of its kind, and was even promised it would be named after her when it hit the stores. But as the guest handed the plant to Laura she accidentally dropped it with the pot smashing on the ground.
The guest then stopped himself from swearing and stormed off as Laura picked up the pieces and asked the crew, "is there really only one of these?". Still trying to salvage the plant, she added: "I think we can save this, is he really cross?"

As the camera panned back to the GMB studio, Ben Shephard said: "A five-year breeding programme Laura and you've just broken it, a unique plant." Before Kate Garraway added: "This is awkward."
But viewers on social media weren't convinced, with one writing: "That was the worst April Fool's prank ever on #GMB." While another added: "Poor effort at an April Fool there #GMB @Lauratobin1."
A third commented: "That was the WORST April Fools joke."
However, some did admit they had fallen for the joke and enjoyed it. One wrote: "On any other day, that would of been gold TV but on April Fools Day…Good for a laugh though Laura."
While another said: "If that was an April fool, I totally fell for it. I was genuinely upset about that dropped plant." And a third said: "Don't think anyone fell for that April Fools, but it was funny though."
