All-Pro defensive end Myles Garrett has the attention of the Cleveland Browns.
Many questions have been raised surrounding a statement recently made by Garrett regarding his future with the team. Now as the season has come to a close and the Browns turn to 2025, they are set to address the situation.
During their annual postseason press conference, head coach Kevin Stefanski and general manager Andrew Berry addressed some of these concerns. Berry shared his thoughts, saying:
‘In terms of Myles, my anticipation, expectation, is that he’ll have a direct ticket from Cleveland to Canton at the end of his [years] and expect him to be here and retire a Brown, quite frankly.”
He added further, that ten and 11-win seasons should not be blips but rather a constant. This was meant to publicly reply to Garrett’s desire to win now, and not suffer through yet another rebuild.
Myles Garrett is one of the most talented players in the history of Browns football if not football as a whole. He deserves a bright future, and hopefully, he can find it by continuing to wear the orange and brown.
