Glow Up series 4: When will the new series be released on BBC Three?

Glow Up's first series aired in 2019 with journalist Stacey Dooley as host and has since gone on to become a huge success. The three seasons have seen their winners awarded contracts to work in the industry after being given the title of Britain's Next Make-Up Star.

The make-up artists - MUA's - have their creativity skills put to the test in industry settings and in previous series have worked on make-up looks for TV shows such as The Crown, Peaky Blinders and Strictly Come Dancing. Its most recent series aired in April 2021, it saw TV presenter Maya Jama take over the role as host and university student Sophie Baverstock crowned the winner.

In March 2022, Glow Up aired its first one-hour celebrity special for Comic Relief - which you can now watch on the BBC iPlayer. Applications for the fourth series opened in October 2021, and since then fans have been eager to know when the show will air and what to expect from the new episodes.

We do know that presenter Maya Jama will be returning alongside iconic judges and industry professionals Dominic Skinner and Val Garland. Here's all the information we have so far on when the upcoming fourth series will air:

When will Glow Up series four air on BBC Three?

A date for the fourth series of Glow Up is yet to be released but when the announcement was made about the Red Nose Day special in February 2022, the BBC did reveal that the fourth series would follow the one-hour celeb special adding that the series would be "coming to BBC Three later this Spring".

We do know that filming on the latest series has wrapped, as host Maya Jama posted pictures of herself with judges Val and Dominic on Twitter on March 6 with the caption: "Series wrapped.. @GlowUpBBC coming sooooooonish"

On January 30, Glow Up judge and global senior artist for MAC cosmetics, Dominic Skinner teased filming for the BBC series was underway by sharing a black and white photograph with his fellow judge Val and host Maya.

He tweeted: "Guess who’s back in the house! @GlowUpBBC that’s who @TheValGarland @MayaJama & @dominic_mua are coming for ya so get those makeup brushes ready for action and tune your telly to @bbcthree!"
