GloucestershireLive Apprenticeship Awards 2022 open for nominations

Nominations have opened for the GloucestershireLive Apprenticeship Awards 2022.

The awards are a celebration of the best and brightest learners across the county as well as the organisations helping them to succeed.

GloucestershireLive, which is running the event in association with sister site BusinessLive, wants to hear from apprentices and employers that are helping the region’s future business leaders by creating opportunities.

The awards recognise excellence across a wide range of sectors, with the overall GloucestershireLive Apprentice of the Year selected from all the winners on the night of the event. An award for Outstanding Contribution to Apprenticeships in Gloucestershire will also be presented at the ceremony.

Last year the awards were announced at a special event at Kingsholm Stadium - the home of Gloucester Rugby - with the ceremony hosted by BBC Points West reporter Steve Knibbs.

The winners included individuals and organisations from a wide variety of sectors - from healthcare to engineering - who have managed to succeed despite the challenges posed by the Covid pandemic.

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust’s Zoe Carter was named Outstanding Apprentice of the Year in the Health, Wellbeing, Care & Education category, as well as the overall Gloucestershire Apprentice of the Year.

If you’re an apprentice who feels you’ve achieved something noteworthy over the last year - or you know an apprentice who has - we want to hear from you.

Entries for the awards are open until June 20. To submit a nomination and to find out more about entry requirements, visit the event's official website.
