Gary Hamilton hailed the efforts of his striking triumvirate - Matthew Fitzpatrick, Eoin Bradley and Peter Campbell - as they secured the Boxing Day bragging rights for Glenavon for a second year in a row.
Fitzpatrick bagged a brace in the 2-1 win over derby rivals Portadown with Bradley involved in both goals and Campbell being named Man of the Match.
Hamilton, a distinguished striker in his own right, was delighted with the contribution of his forward players.

"I thought Skinner, Peter and Fitzy combined brilliantly today, the three of them were excellent," he told Glenavon TV.
"Fitzy has obviously got his two goals, Peter was Man of the Match and Skinner played a part in both goals.
"It's great to see when the three of them click like that because they are good players and they have formed a good understanding.
"When they play like that there they are very hard to stop."
There was a packed house at Mourneview Park to watch the hosts run out winners in the end.
Hamilton played in his fair share of Boxing Day derbies for both the Lurgan Blues and the Ports, and he was delighted to be able to send the home fans away happy.
"There were a lot of good performances, they turned up at the most important time of the year for the supporters and they went home happy," he said.
"That's two years in a row now we've won on Boxing Day, I'd love to know when the last time that happened.
"It's great to see so many supporters out on Boxing Day.
"As much as being a manager and getting the three points is important, it makes it even sweeter when you support the club too."
